What is Yoga ?

Have you ever asked yourself what is Yoga? Or why so many people in the world practice it? Do you have an idea of the numerous benefits that yoga has on your mind and body?

Here are some of the benefits of Yoga :

You can always say « you don’t want to », « you don’t have time », « you don’t have enough money »… Trust me you can always find good excuses to procrastinate.

But what if you said « yes, why not »and try it.

Except the risk of discovering something you might like, there is a chance you won’t like it but no one will ask you to do it again. And at least, you would have tried.

On the other hand, if you like it, you will discover something than a physical practice. It will give you tools to deal with your everyday life, to accept the past, be more grounded in the present, less preoccupied about the future. It will bring balance into your life but also into yourself. It will help you open your heart towards the others but also help you love yourself unconditionally.

I don’t want to force you into anything you don’t want to do or be. I just want to share with you an ancient practice made of philosophy, breathing, postures, meditation. The Yoga path is so profound, so deep, there is so much to learn about, that it slowly becomes a lifestyle. It goes beyond the physical practice.

Every Yogi journey is personal, unique. We can share some knowledge, some practice, some energy, but the journey that happens within ourselves will be different for everyone.

There is no right or wrong.

Just what feels good for you at the moment you decide it.

And this is the beauty of Yoga…
